Power Distribution and Management

Events, all usually require a safe and reliable power. Efficient and effective power supply management is one of the keys to the success of an event.

HireQuip Events very often provide a member of our Team to be present during an event to ensure, amongst other things, that power supply and distribution is managed and maintained throughout. For the largest of events we often employ a dedicated staffer for generators and power supply alone.

Power Supply

Mains power is the preferred source of electrical supply and where possible we would aim to "wire-in" to a permanent supply. However, we can supply a temporary generator supply. We would ascertain what power is available upon a technical site visit to the event location.

Generators for Events and Functions

Generators have become the norm within the events industry as they ensure the viability of power to events in the most remote of locations and harshest conditions. Sound insulation prevents the units from detracting from the event itself.

For applications where a level and uninterrupted power supply is essential (i.e. where computers are involved, intelligent lighting and/or sensitive PA systems etc) synchronised sets can be selected which are capable of maintaining an even supply without fluctuation.

Power Distribution

By carrying out a thorough power analysis on every event we are able to plan our electrical distribution down to the very last cable required. This keeps pricing accurate and means no nasty surprises for you.

We take into consideration everything upon the site that requires power, from a refrigeration Chiller unit to a coffee machine, to a 10 piece rock band, leaving nothing to chance.

For successful power distribution we own everything from 32amp 3-phase cabling to reliable and safe RCD protected distribution boards.

For added safety, when running cables we try to combine the most effective and the least visible route, and cable protectors and Ceeform watertight plugs ensure safety around a site.

We will always attempt to leave your location looking great, during the event and after.

Marquee Heating

State of the art air movement and economical 'return air' systems create very comfortable environments which are 'draught-free'.

Temperature is controlled with sensitive thermostats and condensation within the structures reduced to a minimum. Use of ducting enables the air to be delivered anywhere within a marquee.

Marquee Air Conditioning/Ventilation

Specialist Air Conditioning systems and simpler air movers can 'chill' even the largest of structures in the warmer months.
